It's better than I hoped!

Well, we're flying across America - but we aren't flying. TIME is flying by and we're having a wonderful time. So wonderful that I'm having trouble finding time to keep you all updated.

We said goodbye to Chris & Denise, took some pictures of their barn - and more of their cats, then loaded up and headed to Nashville. Just a nice run down the road, but we were surprised by the dip back into Georgia (just a little curve in the Interstate) and the time change: it took us a little while to figure out how to adjust our GPS system "Leila" - and our computers - to Central Time. With the dip in the Interstate, we went from Tennessee to Georgia, back to Tennessee - and thru suburban Nashville - to find the home of another of our friends, Mike & Preshias. We arrived and just sat and talked all afternoon - catching up on each other - and getting acquainted with their 3-legged Jack Russell, their Sheltie, and their shy cat, Beula. All 3 were really sweet and took a while, but eventually warmed up to us and I was proud that the cat that "just won't possibly jump up onto anybody's lap" - eventually let me hold her and pet her. She likes to *lick* (grooming, we suspect) - so she groomed me and groomed me - and *I* purred.

Of course, we really enjoyed catching up with Mike & Preshias and we were quite taken with the beautiful decoration of their beautiful house - just filled with memorabilia and charm.

They chose a local Pizza parlor and we really enjoyed the "non-chain" pizza, then headed back to their house and we all sat at Mike's English Pub - right in their Family room: Mike has created an authentic English Pub right there.

A wonderful day. Enjoyed their guest waterbed, then headed off for a big day of driving - coming up.
